Hi!
Welcome to my "Oldtimer" transportation magazine shop - possibly the best one on eBay! I mainly sell old car and motorcycle magazines, as collecting the magazines is a bit of a hobby of mine, possibly even an obsession! And what better antidote to the miserable news of today than reading about cars in happier times? These older magazines often portray an innocence that's somehow lost today. I love them to bits!
I've also started to stock t-shirts. Well "stock" is a misdescription in a way, as I design them myself. So far I only have the one, as getting them produced is real expensive - mainly as I want high quality t-shirts that I'm happy to wear myself. Why design them? Well I want something original and fun that you simply cannot get on the High Street these days. Check them out.
Bartering - why not?
Why not indeed - please feel free to barter a discount with me! As a guide, if you want only the one magazine, then the price shown is pretty much what you will pay as it isn't worth anybodies time to haggle over that! However, if you want more than one magazine, then no worries - haggle away!
Postage.
My magazines go all over the world, and I am happy to send them to anybody. My postage rates reflect packaging costs, and the delivery charge, but I am happy to negotiate rates. Within the UK for 3 magazines I will only charge the single item rate [of the three magazines, the most expensive will apply as this will be the heavy one!]. However, if you go mad, and buy more than £20 worth of magazines, I'll send them out free post - but this offer does not apply if you've haggled me down on price in the first place....
For European buyers, the freepost offer does not apply, naturally, but I will still offer a substantial discount for multiple orders.
Note also that I've chopped the postage on most of my new books to zero for UK customers. Essentially I'm cutting out new books, and concentrating on stripping down my collection of brochures, magazines and t-shirts. Wife wants the space back....
All of the magazines listed are my own items - I've collected magazines for years, and happily buy something like 40 a month from all over the place [don't tell the wife!]. As such they are all in "as-read" condition, but I'd never knowingly sell one with missing pages or in a condition that I wouldn't be happy to receive it in myself.
