Watch advice

Never stand a watch on it's winder, this puts a strain on the mechanism as it works and can damage it!

Wind gently every 24 hours, to keep the mechanism in good working order

Have your lovely vintage watch serviced to keep it in tip top condition

Wind up watches are not like quartz, they are a work of art and not conveyor belt produced, it was a time before all the technology which we have today!

Lastly, please! don't poke around inside it, as the parts are delicate, especially the hairspring which is easily damaged

And finally the biggest myth!

You may see people listing watches as "overwound" let me tell you that there is no such condition! what they really mean is a watch has been fully wound up, but isn't working, because something in the watch has broken, it's not the fully winding of the watch which has caused the problem! A watch cannot be overwound! It's an excuse for a broken watch!

All parcels are sent in proper packaging ie; polythene mailing bags, tissue for delicate items and cello bags for corsets.

 I will not insult you by using supermarket bags or bin liners! like some sellers do!

So, p&p includes the appropriate packaging, plus proper labels, handling and petrol to go to the Post Office! 

And 76p for 'First Class Recorded Delivery' Plus whatever weight the item is, as the postage of everything, has gone up yet again recently!

So please consider this before star ratings are left!

Refunds Policy

Only items found to be damaged will apply for a refund,

No refunds are given for items which don't fit, or are damaged trying on ie; breaking zips, splitting, snagging the fabric etc.

I list all measurements so you can decide if an item will fit or not.

Refunds are also not given if you change your mind & decide you don't like an item for whatever reason.

Items are honestly listed to the best of my ability, I can not be responsible for anyone who disagrees with my description, as this is a personal opinion.

Any damaged goods are to be returned within three days, as I have some people taking advantage of 'wearing and then returning' then damaging to receive a refund. I am not a catalogue, so please don't treat me as one.
